Due to an unprecedented amount of e-mails that we have been receiving into CREST, tomorrow (1st May) our phonelines will be closed as we try and answer them all and catch up.
We are aware that this may cause some frustration, so please accept our apologies, but we feel that it is necessary to be able to answer all the queries sent in via e-mail. Many of our calls and emails are regarding speed awareness and motorway courses so please read our updated speed awareness guidance (see below) to see if this may answer any of your queries. We also have all of our calibration certificates on line for you to view so this may also assist with your enquiry.
We cannot answer queries via our Twitter account due to personal information that is required to verify who is contacting us.
The booking timer has now been increased from 14 to 23 days from the date of the offer later. Due to unprecedented demand on the phone lines of providers, national online booking for virtual Speed/Motorway Awareness Courses can be made using https://offer.ndors.org.uk Please note for Derbyshire Speeding Offences which are eligible for a National Speed Awareness Course - DRIVE TECH and some other providers will be offering an on line Speed/Motorway Awareness Course. This will enable you to book and take the course at home if you have the suitable computer equipment, tablet or smartphone. This will then ensure you get the essential Road Safety training and therefore do not attract the fine and penalty points on your driving licence provided the course is completed. Clients booked on the NSAC (National Speed Awareness Course) will be able to enrol on the iNSAC (Virtual Classroom Speed Awareness) course. The course duration is 2 hours 30 minutes and is completed entirely online using the Microsoft TEAMS platform. Users can access it via almost any device including a laptop/mac/ipad or smartphone. Please keep checking the DRIVE TECH website and other course provider websites and contact them when the booking process has started.
